Do a search on the vacuum repairs. Some where I've seen a thread where the threadee used condoms to over lay the original vacuum diaphram and it worked. Mind you, you could always replace the newer ones with the older models that had replaceable rubber parts and they are available from Capitol West on the intenet for about five dollars each. While I've never purchased one, condoms have to be cheaper than buying the whole unit!
