If you did not get a lower quote from progressive, expect an increase soon for your current carrier. I would suspect they all communicate. Now they know you went shopping probably for price and did not buy so they figure they have room for an increase. They are all in the business to extract as much from you as they can, and deny as much as they have to payout as they can.
