Hi

I have a w210 (E200 kompressor) automatic.

Recently developed an issue re the ignition, which doesn't click with ignition barrel and no dash lights. When I try to turnover the engine absolutely nothing.
Have to take the key out and try again - sometimes it take 2-3 times before the key and ignition click and the dash light come on and then manage to turnover the engine.

Sometimes it works first time.

Not sure what the issue is for this inconstant ignition issue - any advice would be gratefully received.
