timm has it right for openers; there are two areas to check: 1) fuel supply, and 2) fuel metering.

fuel supply: pumps(2), filter, accumulator, and pump relay

fuel metering: fuel distributor & air flow meter, fuel pressure regulator, injection valves (nozzles).
