(1) Stainless steel isn't always good. A lot of bottles are lined with dodgy plastics. Apparently, if it's reddish or orangish, it's "bad." Use a glass bottle in a sleeve. Sleeve will keep it cold (or warm) and contain any breakage.
(2) Why not just fill a glass bottle or carafe from a water filter?
