I've been too cheap to get a home filter plus I think the big machines are probably better. There are at least 3 steps to those. Home Depot has a smaller sort of home filter for about $50 but I have to wonder how good they are.
I don't want to be making a trip to the vending machine all the time so I'd like to have some good containers to take. So far I think I'm going to get a couple of the #1 PET 5 gallon jugs.
I like the idea of glass but I have to venture are and wide in my work and plastic bottles were so convenient to haul around with me. No breakage.
I'll see what I can find out about stainless steel containers. The small ones are good for in the car or truck.
