Peachy is for sale! Cheap, to good home.

My company is moving me & my family to Colorado.

I think Peachy should stay in CA - I shudder to think what just one year of real seasons might do to her in CO, not to mention they salt the roads there and that's just too gruesome to contemplate. I'm drinking the CO Kool-Aid and buying a Subaru.

I've driven and enjoyed Peachy daily since I bought her from Merkey. Have kept up on maintenance and done many repairs as needed. Any repairs I've done have used "best" rated OEM or Genuine M-B parts from Pelican and one or two from that Haus in AZ, my mechanic uses "OEM Parts" but I know some of what they've installed is not M-B. Minor/optional things have slid a bit. At one point the passenger-side power headrest quit operating, the seat back on the driver's side won't stay attached, and she's developed a tendency to stall about 10% of the time you pull up to a stop in warm weather with the A/C compressor on. (A/C still works great and she always starts again immediately.)

Only time she's ever gone anywhere on a tow truck it was because the contacts on the $30 voltage regulator had worn all the way down. Lifting her up and then letting her down took longer than the actual repair. Bought that part from Kent Bergsma's outfit, as he claimed to have a part with longer-wearing contacts.

She still pulls like a champ over Pacheco Pass, accelerating with ease uphill to pass slow trucks. She's been trouble-free on long hauls, even to the Central Valley in summer heat.

At the moment she's showing a CEL, code reader indicates "smog pump electrical fault" but I can verify the smog pump is working, as I can observe it cycling off after startup. Don't have time, money, inclination to start chasing that down with all the other move-related stuff taking up my time.

Paint only now showing that the wax job Merkey did is starting to fade (water stopped beading last winter), but still shiny, upholstery and carpet still exc. Still no cracks in dash, tilt-slide sunroof works perfectly. New coolant pump & t-stat, new rear shocks, new Michelins last winter.

First $2000 takes her home, deadline June 10. Current photos gladly given upon request. If no takers by 6/10, sadly I'll have to leave her at a salvage yard (ironically full circle, as Ps2cho and Merkey rescued her from one).
