I got the E class BluTec in 2011, loved it and got about the same mileage. All the while I kept my '85 190D. Traded in the E for a GLK250 BluTec when they first came out in the 2013's and absolutely love the car. On an extended trip at speeds under 90mph I averaged 39mpg. Shorter trips I get about 32mpg with all the stops and starts. Going to keep this one long term, just like the 190D which has 154K on the clock, and still ticking.
