2008 E320 Bluetec Transmission and Vibration Issues
Hello all,
I have a 2008 E320 Bluetec with 98K miles. I am experiencing two issues and was hoping that I could get some help with. I'm not sure if the two issues are related or not.
1. Transmission - When I slow down to stop at a red light the transmission seems like it's slow to downshift. When the light turns green and I press on the gas pedal, the car doesn't move. The engine revs, but the car doesn't go anywhere. Once this happens, I shut the car off and start it back up and everything is fine. It drives like normal. This has happened twice in the past 2 months.
2. Vibration - If I'm driving between 55-60mph, I can feel a vibration coming from the under or the rear of the car. It also sounds like I'm going over some rumble strips. The vibration stops if I left off the gas. But between 60-70mph I still have the vibration and noise, but when I let of the gas, the vibration and noise is still there.
List of MB dealer repairs in the last 6 months:
1. Complete Transmission flush and filter change.
2. Front and Rear Flex Discs
3. Rear differential fluid change
4. Wheels checked for bends. no bent wheels
5. 4 new Michelin tires and balance twice.
I'm at a lost. Not sure what else it could be or if the two issues are related.
Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing these issues?
