MB 87 300D Turbo A/C does not work

Hi,
My MB 300d turbo 87 was converted to 134a before I bought it.
Last year during summer it worked ok, but by the end of it the cooling was declining, so i bought the "ac tune in the can" from
auto store. After I overcharged it I drained some. It started to cool but only for a few miles every time I started the car.
Well, this year does not cool at all. We do not have summer
heat yet here in Georgia.
Checked the pressures on idle up to 2500 rpm. Ambient temp.
was 70F and high and low side equal to 75# of 134a.
Clutch did not engage and A/C fan was on high.
I wander if I overcharged it with oil using "tuneup in the can".
The top switch on dryer receiver had contacts closed and the
little one at the bottom was open. I jumpered cables conected
to it but it did not help. I do not like 134a and if I figure out
what is wrong with the a/c I would like to convert it to 406 or similar.
If anybody has a clue and electric diagram I would very much
appreciate it if you could email it to me.
Thank you all,
ZD
