Ok.. I know this was under duress... etc.....
but as soon as you can you need to adjust the trans fluid level to the correct level..
OVERFILLING can , just like with oil in your engine, cause FOAMING... which introduces oxygen into the fluid quickly taking away its ability to function normally AND depositing varnish in place it should not be.
