I don't even remember what the current residential freon is for new a/c units, but this spring I had to replace my entire central a/c. It is colder and runs less than the prior unit even under service contract.

Then two weeks ago my 16 year old GE refrigerator died. Got a new Whirlpool. Things stay frozen in the freezer, but it takes much longer to freeze than the old GE.

No model of any brand of refrigerator sold in the US has a warranty longer than one year.
