I've heard the copper fuses are better. The old metal fuses get pitted and cause increased electrical resistance which causes problems on other components than just the fuse it's made for, though I'm probably repeating that back wrong from the person who told me that.

You can get an entire set of copper fuses for maybe all of $12 or so. Call anyone who sells MB parts, check Pelican Parts see what they have.
