Cheers bud, I should have purchased some of those plumbing fittings, unfortunately nothing in my collection similar so ended up using anything just to get them out.
Bottle jack worked well on one end.
Just stuck on ball joint now, going to drill base and remove ball - again, nothing of exact size to hold base for pushing/hitting against.
I'll have a through read up on all things bumpy before replacing, photographed everything being removed so should be okay.
