I tried to take out just the motor by taking out the bolts on the backside, but I can only get 2 bolts, it feels like there is a third but the regulator is blocking access to it. The regulator is loose but I think because the window is up the spring is placing a lot of pressure on the regulator, which is why they say to do it with the window down. Got to be a trick but I dont want to put a lot of force on the the regulator assembly and crack it.
