I appear to have a KD switch under the go pedal (can't call it a "gas" pedal), and I also have a KD switch under and just forward of the bowden cable under the hood. What's the story on that one under the hood? What is it for?
The engine-mounted microswitch that is actuated by the throttle linkage is to provide WOT cancellation of EGR, and shutoff of the A/C compressor.
