Howdy all, my car has been done for about 4-5 months with some transmission issues. I'm pulling it apart to replace the clutch kit, and I'd like to swap the transmission while I'm at it, as it's a 300K + 4 speed with a screwed up 2nd gear synchro.

All of my linkage and driveshaft are already modified for the 81+ aluminum case 4 speed, so that is what I'd prefer over the iron box. But if someone here has the magical 717.400 plus shifter and rods I'm all ears.
