One thing one of my housemates told me you may want to take into account: he owns Yakima, but would now opt for the Thule because the Thule uses squared poles instead of round ones.
On his Yakima, after a while, the hardware that the bike attaches to tends to slip down around the pole. Since the Thule's poles are squared off, this doesn't happen.

PS Personally I'd go for LIV TYLER over Christina Aguilera. Didn't even know they were married. Guess I'm getting old.....
