Hi people!
I'm transplanting engine and gearbox from a W124 OM606.910 to a G-wagen. Engine is finally in place. Now I'm working on fitting shifter and linkage.
I've removed the shifter from the W124. It's the 722.4 model. I know of the neutral safety switch, which is a long and flat electrical connector. But on the shifter there are also two wire joints that somehow unlocks the shifter - what are they? Are they also related to the NSS?
