OK I tried to replace the engine shock on the belt pulley only to find that the bolt at the bottom hits on the inside of the fan pulley. I hope the fan and pulley don't have to be remove!! It only seems to need about an 1/8 of an inch more. Am I doing something wrong.

BTW I changed the belt idler pulley just for PM and when I compared the new and old boy was I surprised how thin the O.D. was on the old one
