Ok. I'll stop whining...i figured it out! I loosened the black bracket from its moorings after I pulled the Klima and the FP relay(?) and then I basically rotated the OVP from its holder by pulling forward on the upper half of the relay causing the back part of the metal bracket that's attached to it to come up and out of the retainer it was in.
