I was at the Benz dealer inquiring about ATF... He asked what car I had and I told him, and he said for my older Benz (I guess he means "traditional" 4 speeds) and he said just plain Dexron III. He kinda leaned over the counter a little bit and told me, "Just go down the street to O'Reilly's and get their brand for $1.19/qt....that's where we get ours!" So the Benz dealer themselves use generic brand Dexron III! I suppose it wouldn't hurt to use something more exotic, but you probably won't see any difference and probably just end up wasting your money. Just my humble opinion
