I had a great visit with Randy at the working get together in Mount Vernon, Texas circa 2007. Had a long visit about everything from the vibration in his stick shift converted 300TD to fall versus spring calving. Got to meet and visit with Roy Hunter extensively too. Good times.
The TD was called Marlene. There is a long thread on it here I believe. I bought her from him about 5 years ago and went down and dragged the poor dear home. After assessing everything I decided not to bring her back to life. She ran really well though so I pulled the engine and tranny and installed it in my 39 Studebaker pickup.

I sold the shell along to a nice fellow in Bloomington In who had a long time favorite car which had gotten so rusty it was not worth fixing the body and was going to transfer all the mechanicals over to a rust free car. He was glad to get Marlene's rust free shell.

The seats from Marlene went into the Yellow 240d which I sold recently to Strelnik here.

I try to use everything except the oink!
