At the rear of the Intake Manifold is the Banjo Bolt. Remove the bolt and clean out the gunk
that is created from the EGR Soot and Oil Blow By.


There is a plastic tube which runs over to the drivers side Fire Wall and connects to the Switch Over Valve.
A line from it goes to the ALDA (square thing) on the Injection Pump.


If the banjo bolt gets plugged up, it will affect the performance of the engine.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
