Where's the Grease?
Hey Alternative Fuel People:
I've been hunting down restaurants like a mad dog and have found the same thing at each one.
They all have "grease dumpsters" which are linked to a disposal company. The grease is a commodity and so they are not free to give it away. Sometimes they get a slight kickback and sometimes they pay a slight fee. It depends on the price of the commodity at the time.
Most owners have been friendly to me and have offered me 5 gallons or so to experiment with.
I have done this and its pretty easy. Heat the stuff and filter it and pour it straight in the fuel tank.
However, with 4 diesels, I want a monster supplier. Any ideas? What have you all done?
By the way, I've discovered that the chinese places have grease which seems liquid down to pretty cold temps.
