My belief is when you are selling something have the condition of the vehicle and the terms in writing then there is no "he said she said" about the deal. Before the buyer signs besure it has the buyer test driveing the Car or if the buyer did not test drive show that you offered that.

The other part of selling which in your perticular case is might not have been possible is to avoiding having to sell in a short period of time. Try not to be a "Motivated Seller" that the buyer can minipulate and take advantage of.

I used to work as a security guard. All of the Public is well, special. Be glad the guy you were dealing with was sober when you were face to face.
