was browsing the epc and noticed that the oil filter housing fittings for the hoses have crush washers listed.


mine didn't have the washers originally.


does this mean that there will be less potential for over-tightening the oil cooler hoses and cracking the oil filter housing body?


also, does this mean less need for dual wrench set-up to get the oil cooler hoses tightened down on the oil filter housing?


since the crush washers will buffer the force.


I have ordered a set and plan to install sometime soon, just wanting to hear thoughts.


even with two wrenches, I felt that the oil filter housing was getting torqued when tightening.
