Yipes!
We then visited Antique stores in Cambridge City, Centerville and other small towns on the Old National Road (US40).
I bought some stuff for my building. A couple of old fireplace mantles, a piece of stained glass and a nice picture for the wall.

I sure hope you made sure they start the replate with a COPPER base for that kind of money.
if they don't I would call em back and stop the job. So many shops who don't do a complete job now because of epa rules try to tell all the potential customers who are knowledgeable about plating-that they don't need copper base plating, its like having some shop do a custom paint job -with no primer or prep work, the auto repop pars world offers all kinds of SUB standard china chrome parts with no copper base coat-and rust starts eating thru within 18 mos on, convertible windshield heard chrome , repop bumpers from "goodmark" etc, etc.
Is chrome clear?
