Needless to say, I am bummed out to discover it's a 4-banger and not the 217 hp m104. When I discovered it was not a m104, I didn't give up (because I've got a 1993 300se m104). I didn't give up when I discovered the trans case for a m104 717.450 was a different part number than the 717.412 or 717.413 that I believe is in the m111. But when I discovered that the m104 flywheel is unique and $500-700, that's when I gave up.

Anybody need parts or want to take over my purchase?
