Almost an overbuilding of domestic rental space has hit many areas in the last ten years or so. For quite some time here they give 25K per unit if you agree to lower rents for some unknown time by me. Some well built schools got converted but I have no ideal of the unit cost. The conversions where well done and tasteful externally.


I talked to the building inspector as he is at our cottage a few times a year. He mentioned when I asked that the buildings where really sound before the conversions. Although two of them have flat roofs and they can get pricey when attention is needed.
