Hi JoshuaJeeper. I am actually thinking of purchasing a 617 from a 1985 300SD to put into a Fintail. Your oil pan may make the installation easier as it seems more similar to the M180 pan that's in the car now. Your pan doesn't have the ribs that's on the 1985 pan.

What's special about your pan? Why do you call it oddball? I am new to 617s.
