That top nut is part of the alda I took the one on my 603 off yesterday and held the top of the alda with a big pair of channel locks sure made a diff the way it runs now also if the waste gate is still working that will protect the engine from over boost the same way it works on the Dodge Ram mine is set at 15 psi.
