I replaced the electric fuel pump last year, so that is not the problem. The tank is at 1/4 so I will fill the rest with new fuel and see if that makes any difference. The problem is getting it to run long enough to make a difference. I have a bad feeling that the IP is shot. Is this a common problem? I n all my years of running MBZ diesels, I have only had one problem with the IP, and that was fixed by putting a used $75 pump from the junk yard.
