That sounds like a battery cable problem. Are the battery connections clean and snug?

Use a multimeter and see what the voltage is at the battery and follow the cables and check + to ground, + to battery -, ground to battery +.

If you do not know how to use a multimeter, take it to an automotive repair shop which does electrical work.
