My wife would like to do this but the city of Avondale does not allow beekeeping. Which is ironic seeing as half the city limits are farm fields with large number of beehives in many of them.

I've noticed quite a large number of dead or dying bees around lately. Both at my house and around my office. Just counted about five of them in distress within about a ten square yard area outside my office door.
