Where are the glazing experts here. I need them.
I removed the top trim, 2 pieces, easy to remove and the edge of glass is open.
Quite simply the glass is not caulked correctly at the driver side and pushing from inside will open up a small gap. Bad glazing job done about 10 years ago.
I'll try and clean it as much as I can and will reseal with urethan glue...
This is just a try and if it fails I fear I need to get the glass out and start all over.
But there is hope. Does anyone know what to use as a good primer for the 3M 08609 Urethan sealer? And the question: can the urethan glues be thinned by some magic fluid... In order to get it underneath inside the open gap?
