Capt. Ryan Anthony Beaupre, 30, of Bloomington, Ill. Killed in a CH-46E helicopter crash on March 20 in Kuwait. Assigned to the Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron - 268, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Camp Pendleton, Calif.


He was an Alum of my small school here. He actually is from St. Anne, IL and was a memeber of my friend's fraternity. We had a memorial service here on campus for him. Some anti-war protestors actually did him the dishonor of protesting in front of the chapel in which his service was held. I myself am not for war, nor am I against it, but I will support our troops.
