I just went through that with my 92. Was not able to find anyone to rent me the proper tools. Special tool for removing and re-installing the outer lower control arm bushing in the wheel carrier is the only special tool that I know of for the job.

I was able to make it all happen with a combination of pipe nipples, other pipe fittings, threaded rods, perfectly sized sockets and big hammers and a sturdy bench top vice.

Wasn't too hard all together. Inner lower control arm bushing's were the worst ones by far. If I had to do it again I would consider just buying new lower control arms with new bushings in them or just leaving those bushings alone because honestly they weren't bad.
