After you're finished fixing the window, and for the rest of your windows, here's a tip that I got from here that's worth repeating.


To increase the life of your window regulators, after the window glass has gone as far up as it can travel (full closed position), give the window switch a little tap downward to slide the glass very slightly down. Just enough to reduce the pressure on the regulator frame without causing any air or water leaks.
