The CCU checks the resistance of the aux fan motor every time you turn on the AC. If it sees an open circuit on the aux fan it will not switch on the clutch and the code will immediately come back.
Separately, the AC clutch coil has a thermal fuse to protect the belt. If that thermal fuse is blown the clutch won't engage. Read the codes and fix the problem before clearing them.
