I'll never willingly participate in a throw-away society. Constant manufacturing and disposal of goods is a bad system for the environment, even though many "environmentalists" want you to believe otherwise.

I'll still be driving my 300SD or an even older car in the next few decades. I'm not going to be pushed around by others' agendas. My philosophy is "the simpler, the better". I want a vehicle of which I have full control at all times and is a joy to drive. Something in which I can create memories. I want things that will last more than a lifetime. I'll never own anything newer than what I have now.

Plus, cars used to be FUN. They are getting boring, boring, boring... and not even comfortable to drive or with any usable cargo space. Also, what's with all the STUPID design ideas like putting turn signal bulbs toward the center of the car instead of on the corners where they can be seen, or even worse, not even in the main lens assembly, but way down at the bottom of the bumper and extremely small so they aren't where you are looking for them, and possibly obscured by the car behind them's bumper?
