face it. we live in a throwaway society. people who can't afford to buy new cars do so all the time because they want something new...or the carpets are dirty etc etc

i love love love the predictions that in 10 years we wont be driving. it's hilarious. im an EE and work in the electronics industry developing connected devices...its going to be a looong time before that sees the light of day in more than 0.1% of the fleet. it took car companies many years to transition away from tape decks, and about 8 years to put 1/8" inputs in car stereos for iPods.
