I know! It seems to be the latest buzz in technology/automotive circles, and I keep seeing all these articles about how the entire industry is going to be upended so quickly and disrupted (making comparisons to how Kodak was not prepared for the advent of digital photography, nor Nokia prepared for smartphones, etc.). I read one article claiming we'd all be riding around in self-driving cars by 2025 or something!

To some extent, I think the idea that it might happen more rapidly than we think holds water. But I don't think the manufacturing capacity even exists to effectively replace all the cars on the road within the next 10 or 20 years. I'll tell you one thing for sure - they're gonna have to drag me kicking and screaming out of the driver's seat!
