The oil line for the ip, part #6171800127 is NLA.


Instead, MB sells 2 banjo fittings and 1 meter of vacuum hose. To be assembled and used instead of the pre-made oil line.


So, measuring the existing line and cutting the exact length of hose is not a problem.


But I imagine getting the hose onto the barbs of the banjo fitting is going to be challenging.


So what's the best way to do this? heat the hose ends in boiling water?


or is there a better way?
