That mounting system would only sort of work if there is a mount on each side of the bell housing. On this type of system, the front mount really should be centered under the crank pulley. Think of it as a conventional left / right engine mount + centered trans mount only in reverse.

You probably drilled into the crankcase / timing chain area so put sealer on the threads to prevent an oil leak. Pull the vac pump and inspect the area, make sure the bolt you put in the new hole won't contact the timing chain. Also, inspect / change the vac pump bearings, they come apart and the balls can jam the timing chain.
