Bosch VE Diesel Fuel Injection Pumps Special Socket Set, inexpensive

The Bosch VE type Fuel Injection Pump on my Volvo Diesel developed a leak. I traced the leak to a large Plug in the center of the head of the Pump. That plug is setup for a triangular with rounded corners socket; meaning it has 3 flat sides on it.
In the past I had across this same issue on the smaller side Screws but was able to make a tool for that.

My first thought was to buy one of those Gator Grip Sockets at around $30 for the large one but I believed the OD was not going to fit.

I decided to see if a socket was available and found a whole socket Kit for less then $30 (that price includes the shipping from England).

The kit has Bergen Item No. 5850 on it and I could find no country where it was made on it. You get 5 special sockets in the set. 4 sockets are the 3 flats type and one is what I call a gland nut socket with 2 flats.

The larger ones are 1/2" drive and the smaller ones 3/8" Drive.

Older VW Diesels and my Volvo Diesel from the 1980s use VE Pumps and I believe some Cummins, Newer Vws and even some Mercedes use them.
Note there is some tear down and assembly instructions on the internet for Bosch VE Fuel Injection Pumps.

The Fuel leak turned out to be caused by a hardened and cracked O-ring. I got the replacement O-ring at a local hardware store.
