dealer can make a VMI (vehicle master inguiry) via their NetStar system to find the vehicles warranty fixes/mods and all repair work done.

If the A/C was done (at a MB dealer), then it will show. If it was done at an indy, then it won't!

The fact that it was or was not done does not mean anything in my opinion. It doesn't mean that it will last longer just because it was, nor does it imply that your's is going to go bad because it wasn't!

There are many, many 'S' class MBs that have not had any work done on the A/C.
