Jabstic420 indicated "To be assembled and used instead of the pre-made oil line."

So it is not a fuel line. It is the line that supples the Oil from the Engine block to the Fuel Injection Pump. In the pic it is hard to see the green arrows that point to the oil Supply Line.

On my own Car I got 97 psi max Oil pressure when I revved the Engine. That means the line has to take that pressure.

Since the Oil gets a hotter then boiling water I doubt if that would hurt it during assembly but the other ideas of heating up the plastic could be bad and allow it to slip off at a later date due to the 97 psi.

If a Fuel Line slips off no damage is going to result but if the Oil Line slips off there is a chance of running the Engine out of oil if you don't notice it is leaking.
