I cant say how Ill fair out of the wonkey saturation,it depends on how well the large lake holds its runoff ,the river authority will release the dam water when it deems the release is needed. Those are the marbles that gets dealt the people down stream .It turns out Im on the other end of it this time, that is at lake level being that I live just a few steps from the lake ."They wont let lake frt property flood "was one remark I remember from back in the day ,they will allow water out once it hits the full mark ,drop the lever and let it flow.I do live near a secondary dammed lake used by the power company with some 30 ft of elevation higher than my structure that I reside in and is just a mile or so away .If that thing sprung a leak I would have a very long ride to the Gulf of Mexico.
I would recommend anyone moving to Houston to buy high ground and a high truck.
