The nice thing about movies of that era is the physical special effects really do last compared to the ever evolving world of CGI, where an older movie looks amazingly fake in short time.

I just recently was watching "total Recall" and my enjoyment of that oily rubber mutant glued to that guys chest has not diminished over the years.
